Boys Lacrosseosse
Boys Lacrosse is a full contact sport requiring pads, helmet, mouth guards, and lacrosse
stick for all players. Because of the speed of play and the size of the ball, football gear
(helmets and pads) is not suitable for lacrosse. However, hockey gear can be used for first
year players. By year two, players will be required to have lacrosse specific gear.

Girls Lacrosse
Girls Lacrosse is more of a finesse game with limited contact. Therefore girls equipment
consists of only eye protection, mouth guards and lacrosse stick.

Equipment Rentals
Lower Alabama Lacrosse offers equipment rentals for first year players on a first come first
serve basis. Equipment rentals will be distributed during registration on November 14 at
the First Baptist Church in Fairhope.

Equipment Sales
Lower Alabama Lacrosse offers beginner and intermediate equipment packages for boys
